yatha abhimata dhyana va: or [one can steady the mind] by meditating on a well considered object of one's own choice - that is, we can stabilize our mind by using one of the preceding techniques (lengthen the exhale and pause; open the senses to their multidimensional free-flow; notice, welcome and release suffering; explore dream and dreamless sleep in yoga nidra), OR by meditating on anything that calls to us.
