About Me

Welcome to the website of Michele (Misha) Butot RCSW, ERYT 500. I'm a registered clinical social worker who began teaching yoga in 1999 after a two-year, 500 hour teacher training program. Subsequently, I've engaged in ongoing study and instruction in hatha and restorative yoga, nondual meditation, and yoga nidra. 

My approach is meditative, exploratory and individualized. Group and one-to-one sessions focus on improving self & body awareness, building resiliency & a gentle fluid strength, improving our breathing, and rebalancing and reintegrating on all levels of our being.

Treat yourself to a relaxing, physically and psychologically intelligent practice steeped in the time-tested principles of yoga philosophy.

Where I Teach

All classes are currently offered via Zoom, from my home studio, by short-term sign up.
Monday 6 pm - Hatha Yoga - Next session Nov 23rd through Dec 21st
Monday 7:25 pm - Yoga Nidra - Next session begins Nov 23rd (drop-in available)

Tuesday 1:30 Restore & Rebalance - Next session Nov 24th through Dec 22nd

Individual instruction and themed sessions (e.g. yoga for backs or other specific concern, yoga philosophy/psychology, yoga for living in dying) may be available via Zoom or in-person depending on your interests and the evolving Covid-19 situation.
